Just Found My Next Project

It is a really old Victorian home, which obviously needs a good bit of work. If you get a place like this, then you are going to find very quickly that they can be a really big hole where your money goes and never comes back. One of the big issues is that we need to find someone who does roof repair in Queens who is not going to be afraid of the complexity of the roof. This roof is not as straightforward as a normal modern roof, it has all sorts of details like gables and turrets. It is not an easy job for a roofer, but of course it looks great. Or at least it will look great once it is fixed up the way that it needs to be fixed up. Read the rest of this entry »

Commercial Moving Company in Singapore

For the past 6 months, I have been regularly overseeing progress at a construction site where the new headquarters for my business will be located, once it is completed. I am really excited about this project, and it is long overdue. We have needed to expand to a larger building for years, but it is easier said than done in a place like Singapore. Currently, I am checking into house movers in Singapore and other moving companies. I haven’t been able to find any companies that just specialize in commercial moving, so I think that it might work to hire a company that does both commercial and residential moving instead.

I definitely want to hire a company that has some experience with commercial moving, as opposed to hiring one that only has experience with moving in a residential setting. That is because I want to hire high quality movers that really know what they are doing, and will be able to the work quickly and efficiently, without damaging any of our property. The last criteria is probably the most important, because some of the equipment that is going to have to be moved to the new building is rather expensive, and also rather delicate. As such, it must be handled with the utmost of care. The new building should be finished within a couple of weeks, and so we should probably start the preparations for moving everything to the new location. It is not going to be an easy task to pack everything up and move it, and then to sort it back out. There is also a lot of stuff that is not going to be moved, but rather discarded and replaced by new equipment that will be shipped directly to the new building. We have already ordered most of that.

I Wanted to Be Closer to My Parent’s Homeland

My parents were originally from New Zealand. They gave up their citizenship when they left there and are now citizens of the country where I was born. When they passed away, I found myself wanting to get to know the country that is responsible for helping two great people get their start in the world. I visited once, and found myself thinking I would like to live their permanently. I began learning all that I could about a New Zealand PR application and what migrating there would entail. I really took it seriously.

I felt there was no reason to stay in the country that I was born in. Read the rest of this entry »
